It\u2019s in easy reach for Sydneysiders, extending from East Ryde to Pennant Hills and West Chatswood.<\/p>\n<p>There are lots of picnic areas to choose from, including those that offer picnic tables, barbecues, children\u2019s play equipment, flat grassy areas and easy access to walking tracks and places to ride your bike. You\u2019re bound to find a perfect place to picnic for the day.<br \/>\nHit the walking tracks to explore the park\u2019s bushland, hire a boat from the Lane Cove Boatshed to row along the quiet Lane Cove River or cycle along the park\u2019s roads.<\/p>\n<ul id=\"parkDetail\" class=\"parkDetail parkInfo\">\n<li class=\"parkDetail__openingHours\">Lane Cove National Park is open 9 am to 7 pm during daylight savings (until 6 pm at other times). The park may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.<\/li>\n<li class=\"parkDetail__price\"><strong>Park entry fees:<\/strong>$8 per vehicle per day. The park has coin-operated pay and display machines \u2013 please bring correct\u00a0<span class=\"skimlinks-unlinked\">coins.Bus<\/span>: $4.40 per adult, $2.20 per child (per day). It pays off to explore this exotic Park.<\/p>\n<ul id=\"parkDetail\" class=\"parkDetail parkInfo\">\n<li class=\"parkDetail__openingHours\">Sydney Harbour National Park is open sunrise to sunset but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.<\/li>\n<li class=\"parkDetail__price\"><strong>Park entry fees:<\/strong><strong>Bradleys Head carpark:\u00a0<\/strong>$8 per vehicle per day.\u00a0<strong>North Head carpark:\u00a0<\/strong>$5 per vehicle per day. There are pay and display machines that accept cards and coins \u2013 no change given.\u00a0<strong>Chowder Bay Road parking:<\/strong>\u00a0Monday-Friday: $3 per hour, to a maximum of $16 per day. Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays: $4 per hour, to a maximum of $20 per day. If you hold an NPWS All Parks or Multi Parks Pass, you can park free for up to four hours per day \u2013 additional time can be purchased. Car parks operated by Sydney Harbour Federation Trust or Mosman Council are not covered by your pass. Please check signs carefully.<strong>Other fees:<\/strong>Landing fee or tour fee applies to visit Sydney Harbour Islands. Fort Denison can only be visited on a tour.\u00a0To visit Shark, Clark or Rodd islands Island, all vessels, including kayaks, need to pay a $7 per person landing fee.
