Then the IRON course is what you are looking for.

IRON means Initial Registration for Overseas Registered Nurses.

Is an industry-licensing course (a prerequisite to registration as an Australian Registered Nurse). Once the student has this occupational registration, is eligible to work within the Australian Health System.

The aim of the course is to assist overseas qualified nurses to achieve the knowledge and skills required to work as a nurse in Australia and provide support in the transition.

On the successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to apply for registration, a process that is determined by the governing body, AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority).

Is a 12 Week course, with a structure where the student has up to 4 weeks of theory and 8 weeks of Professional Experience Placement (PEP). The student has the opportunity of an early exit after completing 160 hours of PEP.

The PEP is organized in a variety of hospitals in metropolitan and rural centers within Australia. Clinical supervision is guaranteed at all times
